You sound like my mom. She's always convinced I directly made things happen on TV just because I wanted them to and expressed my desire for it on the internet. (Like, say, Cas and Crowley working together.)

Also, does it ever occur to people that things became tropes in fanfiction because they were tropes in general fiction first?
