Of course the people who have issues should not be censored. But the point is that whatever issues they may have are fairly irrelevant because no one is forcing them to deal with other people's kinks. If you have issues with rape fic, don't read rape fic. Just ignore it when it pops up on comms. Don't go around telling people that you have issues with it. People are told to STFU about their issues because they have no reason to mention their issues in the first place. Somebody writes rape fic. You don't like rape fic. The smart thing is to go and ignore the rape fic, instead of starting to tell people why you have a problem with rape fic and then be outraged that people are annoyed by your whining.
(This is a very general, hypothetical 'you', I don't mean you personally, I have no idea what you have or do not have issues with. :))
