Nothing wrong with that, imo. At least you'd be choosing to go out on your own terms.
tbh I'm pretty sure that believing, or knowing, that a zombie apocalypse wouldn't affect you emotionally or mentally might be worse. Knowing that a lot of people are either dead or essentially having lost all faculty of will, but you'll likely just blink at it and move on like some sociopath. I fall into that camp, and I worry more about what that says about me :(
I'll just go ahead and blame my dad for instilling all that stupid "BE AWARE THE apocalypse is coming/end is nigh/bullshit" junk since I was a child to the point where I actually have plans for all that including a zombie apocalypse.
