Hee, I hear that. They're good-looking guys, but didn't move up to OMG LET ME RIDE YOU (/tmi) until I watched the show. Character has a lot to do with the hotness, and the way they play em (especially with Dean, but that's my opinion)

I have love for them both, both characters & actors, but I genuinely don't feel a big desire to hit it. Like, at all. With either of them. Like, I think of them the way I do my older cousins or something--I think they're fun and cool and I'm aware that they're good-looking, but it doesn't make me ~feel~ anything in a sexy way. IDEK. They're just totally not my type, but you wouldn't think that would matter with a celeb/fictional character fangirl crush...IDK. (Now Misha, on the other hand... :9 :9 :9)

You should just give it a try, because they look WAY hotter when moving around and talking and when you know the characters, than when you just see pictures. I didn't get into SPN until season five or so because I always saw pictures and thought, "c'mon, these guys aren't hot" and it irritated me that everyone drooled at them. When I finally gave it a try ... well, Sam isn't my type, though I can see the appeal if you're into cute, boyish faces, but I'd bang Dean in a heartbeat. So just give them a try - most of the well-known pictures of them don't do them justice.

And even if you don't find them hot, the show is tons of fun and there are enough side characters around to drool at.

I can kinda sorta see it with Jensen because he has gorgeous eyes and the Ackting is so amazing. Not quite sure about Jared, though. Maybe it's the muscles and the "Puppy" look. I could be totally wrong though. I'm not really into dudes so what the straight gals think is hot goes over my head sometimes.

I don't understand opinions like this. Like, I completely understand not being attracted to them. But by the same token, I don't get not seeing what it is about them that makes them conventionally attractive to a large swath of the population.

There's lots of guys I'm not even remotely attracted to, and I can still see why they're widely considered to be very good looking. Like, Matt Bomer does nothing for me, but he's obviously a very handsome man.

I had pretty much the same thought before I watched Supernatural. I actually thought to myself, 'well, Jared's pretty cute... but ehhhhhh - I guess I'll actually watch this for the plot'. Now I can't see a picture of Jensen/Dean without getting that little twist in the pit of my stomach. Seriously, the things I would let that man do to me...

I think it's all a matter of personal opinion, OP. Like me: I think they are attractive but I would take Jeffrey Dean Morgan (who plays their father in the series) over them any day. Just my type of guy.

I didn't find them OMFG SO HOT until I started watching the show.

It was the characters I was attracted to first, then the actors. Now I find them both stupidly attractive, in and out of character.

It doesn't hurt that they're really sweet and funny, either. :D
