Though I have to wonder if I'm the only one who actually found those scenes hot? Cause I'm not gonna lie, I kind of did. I don't usually like shota because of the blushing and "innocence" and I don't even remotely like Alois/Claude but those scenes hit all kinds of buttons for me. Then again I like old men, loved Hannah and ship Alois/Hannah like crazy so I never really got into Kuroshitsuji 2 fandom.
The double standard that OP pointed out is so true though. Man-who-is-hot/boy = okay and not pedophilia. I saw this a lot in Loveless fandom too once upon a time. ~*But-but-but Soubi is hot and their totes soulmates!1!!*~

I don't mind some fictional abuse - those blushy little shota and sexy man-who-is-hot share tru wuv romances never got me, I like shota for all the levels of wrongness and the effed up relationships. (I like Claude/Alois, but only if it's portrayed accordingly and without happiness and love and all that jazz.)
That's why I avoid the Kuroshitsuji fandom (and couldn't watch the first Kuroshitsuji feat Ciel series), and what I saw of the Loveless fandom killed pretty much any interest I might have had in the manga before I even looked at it. :/
Alois/Hannah got me into shota/woman. Sadly fandom doesn't provide one with anything her as far as I know.

Loveless is interesting, but the fandom sucks. I only read it for the side characters at the moment, but the main relationship is pretty effed up in the manga. It's actually a Josei series so it's meant for adults, but most of the fandom is really young and only read it for the shounen ai which is a shame.
Alois/Hannah is such an interesting dynamic. I love it so much. I really don't get the amount of hate she gets.

That's why I definitely will catch up with the manga when I got the time, but won't ever finish watching the series.
And maybe I'll read Loveless one day, too, but I will do my best to keep away from the fandom.
She still gets so much hate? Damn, this fandom sucks balls.
I really adore her, she's hot and imho the most interesting demon of them all.
(But what was I expecting - of course, next to all the bishounen butlers, she gets no love from fandom.)

Oh, yeah. She still gets hate and it makes me so angry. I think she's both hot and really interesting and I love her dynamic with Alois.
I don't mind at all! I friended you, so just go ahead. My journal isn't all that interesting but now you can see more than just an empty journal at least. :)
