Yeah, I agree, but it's more like all fandoms.

Guys, if the pairing involves two males/females, it's sort of a given that there's going to be homosexuality.

Seriously. I think even including it as a genre is ridiculous, since it should be obvious if pairings are listed. I can understand warning for sex, but "gay sex" in particular just makes no sense to me. Most people can understand pairing lines, even if they are new to fandom. When I was a newbie, I got that "Character A/Character B" meant better than terms like "slash".

I include "femslash" or "het" or whatever in the genre line for google reasons. But this warning thing got old years ago. Learn the rules, people.

I can understand that. I usually just put slash/het/femmeslash in the tags for that purpose, but I think wanting to include "genre: slash" is okay. It's not like it's more difficult than writing "warning: slash", so I don't get why people don't do it.

God, yes. Every time I see something like that, I wonder what is wrong with these people. It's even more ridiculous when the fic is posted in a slash community. *argh*
