Hey, feel free to have your own opinion. I just wanted to express my dislike for the stereotype that has always plauged the 'official Disney Princess lineup' of the perfect girl/princess. Lets have some real women thrown in there, ones with attitude and non-traditional beauty.

And I certainly don't call myself better than those who like the ladies of the 'official lineup' (especially since there are one or two 'official princesses' I like); I'm just sad these ladies don't get as much attention and haven't been awarded the title of Disney princess.

By 'real woman', I mean a flawed, non-traditional beautiful woman. The kind of woman you pass on the street every day, as oppossed to the super model perfection of the princesses good enough to be in the 'official lineup'.

I am a woman and I would not fit it with the 'official lineup', neither would any of my female friends. For the most part, we all favor the non-traditional girls. Looking at the lineup, you can't possibly deny the similarities in their looks and their attitudes.

But I stress once again, feel free to have your own opinion. I'm certainly not saying that my opinion is in any way better than yours.

I don't feel bad in any way about my comment. The Disney princesses in the official lineup are to the non-traditional princesses I favor in the same way that models on America's Next Top Model are to myself and all of my friends: perfection in beauty vs being ordinary and flawed.

But that's just my opinion, feel free to have your own and make your own Fandom Secret about the Disney princesses.
