Not all of those are princesses though. Nala went straight from normal lion to queen lion, unless you...consider that idea going around that they're siblings..but let's not.

The fox is a Lady (ie noble), not a princess.

Megara and Esmeralda aren't princesses either.

Awesome female characters, sure. But you can't really complain about them not being in the line up for princesses when they're not royalty.

LOL. I remember going through the Disney Princess stuff at the Disney Store as a kid and asking my mom why Nala didn't get a toy too. xD

But, I do like Jasmine, Belle, Mulan, Tiana, Rapunzel, and more recently Ariel. However, Esmeralda NEEDS to be included. If Mulan can count as a Disney Princess, why not Esmeralda?
Oh, right. Because Hunchback is scary and dark and anti-Christian or something, so Disney has to ignore its existence.:(
