Because it's way way way too broad of a topic to brand it 'slut' shaming. Everyone has a different opinion of what a slut is (though it should be obvious if you have half a brain or are not a slut in denial) and then when you run to the rescue to every girl that gets branded a slut you blur that line. I just really fucking hate that word. Like I hate the 'trigger warning' word too. That shits stupid, yo,

IDK. While generalizing, it's good to have a term to use when someone gets on a woman's case for enjoying casual sex, because it's usually what provokes the "slut" name-calling. It's a good...I dunno, portemanteau term? Ugh sorry, I lack vocabulary in english.
IA that there's a problem with generalizing that term though. Then again, I really wish we'd cut "slut" from usage tbqh. Feel free to disagree, but yeah, really not comfy with that word and everything it represents. Though you're right at the term having been used in many different ways. Haha I'm sorry, I'm not making much sense but
TL;DR politely disagreeing but understanding why you don't like it and the fact that people have many different ideas of what to associate to "slut", even though IMO it's overall related to the idea that woman's sexuality has a negative connotation.

As for trigger warnings...well, I am in no posture to judge at all about how effective they are in general, so I won't delve into that. I'm sure that people have very varying sensitivities and that the warning about triggers can help some out!

I used to rant about sluts and how ~irresponsible~ and ~childish~ they were and how much they would ~certainly~ regret everything later. turned out I was just jealous of them for having guilt-free sex when I wasn't.
