Hee hee, that's true! XD; Forgive my improper wording!

I know Sonic's personality differs from game canon to comic canon to cartoon canon, but in essence I meant that when you get right down to it, regardless of what canon you're looking at, he's an anthropomorphic spiky blue hedgehog with a love of adventure and a taste for supersonic speed. It just seems so weird to see so much hate between some fans, just because of the canon they're most familiar with! o_o

I personal think the thing that most old school versus next gen Sonic gamers have a problem with is just what I said above. Sonic's personality wasn't really a big deal in the old games, but with cutscenes and voices in the next gen games, he actually has a personality.

We really should unite, but I can't get over how much I don't like next gen Sonic's attitude. I think all the new powers and stuff they gave him is cool, but...bleh. Yeah.
