Okay, what exactly is wrong with the Homestuck fandom that is apparently not wrong in other fandoms? There's some anal retentive neckbeards and some immature tumblr kids, sure, but it's notably lacking in vicious ship wars, rl stalking, rampart misogyny, weird con drama and meglomaniacal bnfs like uhhhh most other fandoms out there (especially the excessively creepy live action drama fandoms, which people rarely compare to scum of the earth).

My experience in Homestuck fandom, both at the fora, LJ and Tumblr has been extremely nice. Am I hanging out in the wrong places or what? Everyone seems to be so chill and accepting. Where's that supposed drama people keep complaining about?

Agreeing with some of the above comments in that my Homestuck fandom experience so far has been nothing short of wonderful and drama-free, and I'm mostly from the tumblr crowd. Guess I'm just not looking in the right places.

Sometimes it feels like I'm the only person who still loves most of the fandom (there are exceptions, but they're mostly people I have personal beefs with for one reason or another).

Seriously, it's the only fandom where people I don't know have commented favorably on my art and fics. I can stand a little idiocy from time to time if the people in the fandom are actually nice.
