Well yes, historically Giovanni Sforza did testify that the marriage with Lucrezia wasn't consummated, but only because he was forced to do so by her family so that they could politically marry her off to someone else / break ties with the Sforza family because it was no longer advantageous. Ironically she was very pregnant at the time Giovanni testified the non consummation (very much to his own detriment and anger), though the child was not his. Perhaps I am missing the point of the secret ... but from a historical standpoint, the retelling of this particular episode in Showtime's the Borgia's is fairly accurate.

They might show this in further episodes?

Yeah, they do show that in the season finale. The Borgia family hits him pretty hard, I'd say he got what he deserved.

Also, in real life yeah... it's pretty safe to assume they had sex considering she was pregnant when they got divorced. I suppose she could have had an affair, but the show probably wasn't that far off (depending on how much of a dick her husband was in real life, I'm not sure about that)
