Maybe you should talk to your brother about this! Don't bring up that it makes you uncomfortable at first, just let him know that you know he's been switching Shepherds on you. In all likelihood he'll either get embarrassed and stop doing it where you can find out (not the best end, but your problem is solved), or you two can start talking about why he wants to watch the m/m sex scenes! (good end! please don't call him a homo!) It's okay if your brother is gay, try to be as supportive as you can, and remember he's still the same brother you had yesterday. And lots of people take the non-human romance options, either for the novelty factor or because the personality of the characters makes it less important that the character is an alien.
