8. Hahaha, I know what you mean. XD I've been collecting the American-released manga, and I KNOW it's not THAT great, but I'm enjoying it a lot anyway. <3

9. Honestly, I never understood why people loved FFX so much. ._.; The plot didn't interest me much, and besides Wakka and Seymour, I never really got into any of the characters. (Even though I cosplay Auron. XD;;) FFXII, on the other hand, I loved because of all the political stuff and warring factions, homg. <333 I EAT UP stuff like that. I thought Ashe and Vaan were kind of lame as main characters and Ashe got focused on so much in comparison to more compelling people, and yeah, the plot got weaker and confusing later on, but the rest of the supporting cast was so awesome and there was so much intrigue that it's got to be one of my favorites anyway. <3

Also, the character designs for the FFX people are way more conventionally "pretty" than the ones for FFXII, so I'm not sure what you're talking about. O_o; I dunno, maybe it's my personal bias, but your hatred for FFXII seems kinda petty. D:

Another Wakka fan? AWESOME.

I can't understand why people don't like Wakka. Look at the bundles of character development he gets! He's originally racist towards Al Bhed, but realizes they're people too once he sees what's being done to them and how corrupt and hypocritical the Yevon religion is. He throws away everything he believed in because all those beliefs betrayed him and starts thinking for himself. He gives his kid an Al Bhed name in FFX-2. Wakka is, in my opinion, one of the best developed characters in all the Final Fantasies. And he's hot too.

It's honestly been too long since I've played FFX for me to explain why exactly I love him so much, but I just remember that I do and with MUCH VIGOR. >:3 Yeah, though, I remember those aspects about him, and I remember being peeved when I saw people on mailing lists and stuff call him a bible-thumper. :'( He is at first, but HE LEARNS, HE REALLY DOES.

HE TOTALLY IS. <3333 I also don't understand why people slash Tidus with oldo!father!friend Auron when Wakka is like RIGHT THERE DDDD:

Oh, but he was a bible thumper at first, and we all know that characters, especially the non-bishie ones, can't you know, grow and change! That's stupid. It's not like people do that in real life, RIGHT? As a game, I didn't like FFX as much as the other FFs. BUT IT HAD WAKKA, AND THAT WAS THE MAIN REASON I KEPT PLAYING.

Also, Wakka > Tidus in fighting lizards and wolves. Sad, but true. In fact, Wakka is the most effective character, physical damage wise. Attack Reels FTW.

And yeah, at first I liked Auron a lot, but then I started liking Wakka more and fjhalksfj. YEAH, I KNOW, I really didn't get into FFX much at all. D: I mean, I enjoyed it enough when I played it, but I have no desire to re-play it or anything, and the addition of voices made it feel really different from the other FFs and they didn't do any cool differing accent stuff like they did in FFXII to draw you into the world... and yeah. XD;

Never got any of his reels, though. ;_; I WAS YOUNGER AND DUMBER AND COULDN'T FIGURE OUT HOW TO DO THOSE DAMN BLITZBALL GAMES. DX

OMG YES. WHY IS IT IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND. WHY. I've seriously found like... maybe three good pictures for it ever. D:

Blitzball is annoying, but recruit some of the people on the Al Bhed Psyches once they get kicked off the team and you won't regret it. Especially their Goalie, Nimrook, omg, he's awesome. The rewards are completely worth it, though.

Wakka with overwhelming attack + Fully Powered World Champion + Perfect Attack Reels = 1,199,988 damage (99999 x 12) in ONE FUCKING MOVE.

There was this one half-decent fic I kind of liked, where Tidus was the Summoner and Wakka was the foreigner, but when I realized the author was pretty much taking the game's script and putting it into Tidus and Wakka's mouths, I got disappointed. Yuna's grand speech during her trial in Bevelle sounds dorky and stupid coming from Tidus. But then again, everything sounds dorky and stupid coming from Tidus. I haven't found anything for the pairing beyond smut. It's pretty good smut, but I want something with a plot for once.

9. My thoughts exactly, only worded slightly better! X was the kind of game where none of the characters clicked with me, I completed and enjoyed, and never had an urge to go back to again. Whereas with XII, I'm eating it up, and I can't think of a fandom where I've liked characters and pairings this much in forever. Seriously, an hour or so into the game and the plot-bunnies were already gnawing me.

Oh, and the whole mythology of the world. Gotta love that. ♥
