This secret and your comment could be applied to my fandom's BNF. Said BNF has really tainted my name since I don't really like her work since she is obsessed with with my least favorite pairing. She got all mad when I said I wouldn't read her fics...thus she wrote a whole bunch of lies about me that everyone believes...even though if the fandom went to my pages, they would see that I clearly do not act like how BNF states (example: BNF says I can't take critique, however, I actively ask for crit and am a part of a lot of hard crit groups. I am also really nice and appreciative to people who give me crit).

Would it be a good idea to make a journal debunking that I am *not* how BNF states I am, that she is lying, or...would that just be wank bate and make it worse? Should I just keep ignoring it?

Hmm...I know a BNF with those initials in a certain game fandom, but there could be a lot of people with those initials as well. The BNF I am thinking of has caused nothing but crap with me.

I thought it was just me she was being an ass to and writing lies about since I am not fond of her work...but it's not? I'm curious what else she has done to others besides me. Care to share?

I think we are all thinking of the same person. Rhymes with "Bat Fountry" and likes to sic her minions on anyone she doesn't like? Likes to ship her favorite characters with teenage OCs and mock anyone else who does the same? Likes to constantly reblog fanart of her fics on Tumblr, not with words of praise or gratitude for the artist, but with a note informing us all that THIS IS FANART OF HER FANFIC just in case we didn't know? Likes to make every single conversation about her fanfic? Likes to jump into conversations that briefly mention a fandom opinion she doesn't share just to inform everyone that she doesn't share that opinion? Is one of the mods of a certain site that breeds wank every single day?

Yeah, I think we're all talking about *that* CB.

My rule of thumb is to surround yourself with good people and people you enjoy. If this person pisses you off so much, stop interacting with them.

It'll be worth the sacrifice.
