*eyeroll* This again? Oy. OK, I'll do my speech again: I stayed away from this fandom for four years because I was scared of the crazy, and then I finally got onboard and I've met tons of awesome people and had a lot of fun. It's very easy to avoid the bad-crazy and hang out with the good-crazy; if you're letting the batshit people ruin the experience for you, you're the one doing something wrong. Gah.

There are crazy fans in EVERY fandom. It's not difficult to avoid them. I follow like five different comms in this fandom and I never see any wank.
