He did the same thing with other girls after me. It was his way of getting girls, he'd befriend them and once they felt safe he'd make his move. I felt guilty as hell turning him down, but I didn't feel that way about him. Once I'd turned him down, he moved on to another girl - and another, another. This was 3 years ago and there's been 8 girls since then (we work together, so I know.)

I'm not saying friends don't fall for each other, but -this- guy was a fake friend trying to get into girl's pants. It was a life-lesson for me, that's why I always tell people to be honest about their intentions and what they want from people and ask them out on a date if that's the kind of relationship they want.

Ugh. In that case, I'm sorry, that really does suck.

It was a life-lesson for me, that's why I always tell people to be honest about their intentions and what they want from people and ask them out on a date if that's the kind of relationship they want.

The only downside to this is if two people really do start out as friends, because of one bad experience, you might be more inclined to not believe their feelings were a natural progression as opposed to a set up, which is quite sad. :/
