I share this frustration, OP. especially with vague doctorspeak ("there's, uh, something wrong with your heart") and the way every sick or injured character will inevitably become pale and fatigued and cough a lot, no matter what the illness.

on the other hand, inaccurate depictions of mental hospitals are so prevalent that they make me lol. TV mental hospitals are like TV dorms. they're huge, well-lit, private and you can basically get away with anything.
