I think a lot of readers never picked up on the implied relationship. I knew Loras had a thing for Renly, but I didn't know for certain it had been reciprocated until I read AFOC. The scene didn't bother me at all (other than I think Loras needs to be a little more cut. He is a knight, after all.)
The sexposition that bugged me the most was from Episode 7 when Littlefinger is expounding on his reason for being while giving the two whores lessons in faking it. The scene went on for entirely too long, plus I think Littlefinger is far too smart to fall into that Evil Overlord trap of bragging about his plans.
Prince Golden Crown and Dany's slave girl in the tub was nice, as was Dany's scene with the same girl.
The added scenes for the most part have been excellent and felt like they came right out of the book--including the one in the secret.

Word. This is probably the only scene in the whole show that has really bugged me so far. Which, you know, generally says excellent things about the show, but damn was this unnecessary and badly done.

Exactly. It was just so out of character for Littlefinger---Petyr Baelish, revealing all his motivation and half his plans (even if just metaphorically), in his outside voice? Just... no.

The worst part about that scene to me was that it was just incredibly fucking distracting. I actually completely missed most of the Petyr development, not even because I was turned on so much as because I literally couldn't hear him for the moaning whores.
