I seriously cannot stand sf_d's holier than thou anti-shota/loli stance. Every time it's come up, someone has been kind enough to inform them that shota and loli fans more often than not identify with the child character, not the adult... so, uh, who are they hurting with their kink? Themself? The fictional child they are identifying with/pretending to be? They know full well it's not about raping or abusing children, but with power dynamics, but they choose to remain ignorant so they can lord it over women who don't express their sexuality in ways they find appropriate.

no, it's pretty clear that most shota and loli is marketed toward people who find the idea of having sex with children sexually appealing. you need only look at people discussing the sex appeal of moe characters and the cases of pedophiles who collect shota and loli to see it's true.

so even if you like it, you're not the target audience and you are not reacting the way the target audience reacts. and to save your little kink you would defend the people that want to fuck children and who sometimes do fuck children, sometimes using the shota stories you love so much to groom them first.
