Wow that blog is mean spirited and hurtful to those who are trying to become better. Yet, I've seen quite a few blogs dedicated to horribly written fanfic and not many people have trouble with them.

Except in those communities the fanfic is usually dissected and it's pointed out what is actually wrong with it. Sometimes it's a rant, but more often it's "don't do this".

The owner of that blog doesn't critique or rant, they just post stuff and want people to laugh and point at someones lame skill!!!1!

I think it's hysterical. She doesn't say anything particularly vindictive or hateful about the art that gets posted, and she seems pretty open to taking things down upon request. That doesn't seem 'sad' or 'pathetic' to me. Being an illustrator, I delight in going back and laughing at my own bad work. Seeing silly fan art doesn't make me think ill of the artist- it reminds me of a place I was in at one point in my life. I realize not everyone will see it that way though, and feelings could get hurt, and while that is the downside of it, I feel like a tumblr that features bad Doctor Who art is one of the more harmless things on the internet. But I got quite a laugh from seeing all of these delightfully awkward works of art, so derp on,Questionable Doctor Who Fanart, derp on.

Yes, she's being oh so decent, mocking quite a few minors, and the dozens of homophobic comments "dur hur, that one makes the Doctor look like a lesbian! Lesbians all look like this!"
