Whatever works, OP. I'm glad you got out of that--I used to be in a situation somewhat similar when I was younger, and while I understand missing it [one may be living in a wonderland of terror, but I'll admit it was a little cool to have something extraordinary like in fiction actually happening in your life, even if it's just the product of your own mind; trust me, looking back I kind of miss some aspects of it, too] it's definitely for the best that you put your mental health before living in a mental Silent Hill.

Also, holy shit, are you me? I thought I was the only one who actually hallucinated Slender Man [among other things] in dark windows!

Okay, first: rpsecrets2. RP!S isn't dead! It just moved. ;)

Second: I...don't see anything wrong with that? That way you're just seeing characters instead of "that guy from Persona" or "a Homestuck troll". If you really get interested in a canon you'd probably go look it up anyway, right? So I wouldn't worry about it.
