Just curious, because I'm kind of new here, but what were the fun secrets? Can you give me examples? I'd love to look back on some of those threads.

one of my fondest memories of this place was a Gurren Lagann secret that prompted a thread about Kittan that went to the tune of Gaston's song from Beauty and the Beast. it was more silly and lighthearted stuff, but lots of things like shipping and I'd Hit That secrets got axed out cos of irritation. then the SJ people of the internet decided to descend upon this place like a flock of meat-picking vultures and sucked the life out of it.

IA. I've been noticing that a lot of the debates that have been going on have been very one-sided. It's like FS became a hive mind and it's not enjoyable to read/write arguments all with the same opinion.
