I like how you're all, "Yeah, I understand the reasons why people would do that, but I think my personal satisfaction counts more." But then again, it IS a fandom secret. So.

People's just saying that there are two points of view here. I can understand authors' right to do that, but it doesn't mean I have to agree or be happy about it. It's sad for me. Not because I like those deleted fics in particular, just because I think that it's a loss.
