She's definitely not a favorite. I like her but I think she's kinda boring LOL. She sleeps most of the time but I like her voice. And I like the movie a lot.

p.s who is Melody? I'm not up on the new Disney ladies so much.

Melody is this (http://disney.wikia.com/wiki/Melody) little cutie and Ariel's daughter. I find her delightfully adorable and I like how she gets to have her own little adventure and save the day.

Ah yes. Personally, I steer clear of sequels/spinoffs to movies I love. I made that mistake with Grease 2 and vowed never to do it again. And then I broke that promise and watched Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights. They won't get me a third time and definitely not with The Little Mermaid. It's my favorite Disney movie and I refuse to ruin almost 20 years of "after the wedding" head-canon LOL.

I thought it was a decent enough sequel, it shows Eric and Ariel happily married but it didn't show enough to ruin any headcanons methinks. :p but yeah.

My head-canon is that there IS not "after the wedding" canon LOL. They sail off into the sunset, The End. That's how I like my fairy tales. I don't want them to be "normal" and actually have lives and kids and responsibilities and all that nonsense lol. I'm not a fan of "After the 'Happily Ever After'."
