Okay, I was asking in my journal the other day - where are all the multi-fandom kink memes at? The ones I know of seem to be dead :( Now it's just communities for individual fandoms. This makes me sadface.

I used to do this, not because I was ashamed, but because I wanted a guaranteed audience. I don't anymore since I have a mini-following, but really, I understand. :)

I do this too, because I'm too embarrassed to put anything I write on my journal ever, and because nobody would read it if I did.

I did this once-- or, more like I realized after posting an anon prompt that I actually knew EXACTLY what the story should be after all, so I went ahead and filled it myself. Ain't nothin' wrong with that.

I've done this a bunch of times but things can get really awkward when someone else fills that prompt, too, and finishes first. This happened to me once and it was such a plot-specific prompt that she basically took the way my story was supposed to progress and I had to re-write from nearly the ground up.

Basically, you need to write your fic first and then start posting the fic a couple of hours after you post the prompt.
