This almost makes me sad. Everyone goes on about Gene being a racist misogynist chauvinist everythingelseist arsehole and screams "SOCIAL JUSTICE", but Gene's a step beyond that. Yeah, he doesn't give a shit about social justice - because what he gives a shit about is justice. He treats women like twats, blacks like twats, whites like twats, men like twats, and - most importantly of all - criminals like twats.

Also, Ashes To Ashes has maybe the greatest finale I've seen on TV in the last twenty years. And it makes Life On Mars even more epic.

This secret made me think... I've always been fascinated by the Justin/Iris relationship, and maybe it's because my own brother has never given a shit about me. Their relationship is pretty fucked up, but at the same time, I kind of wistfully wonder what it would be like to be loved so completely by one's brother (uh, barring the incest, though). Just to be that important to him. Or important even a little.

Now I'm depressed. :( Carnivale: helping viewers work through their family shit, even years after cancellation.

Not in direct response to your secret, but in general: I am so sick of repetitive Glee secrets. Don't get me wrong, a lot of shows are bad about this (Supernatural, I'm looking at you), but I compulsively save fandom secrets and I swear I have eight or nine secrets that say this exact thing on my hard drive. We get it: it inspires you/turns you on/is actually sort of a healthy relationship in Glee, and nobody understand that. I cry for you, I really do. :-|
