This almost makes me sad. Everyone goes on about Gene being a racist misogynist chauvinist everythingelseist arsehole and screams "SOCIAL JUSTICE", but Gene's a step beyond that. Yeah, he doesn't give a shit about social justice - because what he gives a shit about is justice. He treats women like twats, blacks like twats, whites like twats, men like twats, and - most importantly of all - criminals like twats.

Also, Ashes To Ashes has maybe the greatest finale I've seen on TV in the last twenty years. And it makes Life On Mars even more epic.

The ending of Ashes definitely did not ruin the ending of Life on Mars.

OP, if you really loved the ending of LoM because it was open-ended, don't watch A2A. A2A is pretty good, but the ending did wreck it for me because it killed that awesome, open-to-interpretation thing that they had going on.

There are SJ residential dorms? LOL. So that's where they keep coming from!

i'm not even going to touch the rest of this secret, but the ashes to ashes finale was absolutely fantastic, though I think I wound up liking A2A more than LoM by the end, so ymmv.

Imagine the housework rota! Imagine the house meetings! Imagine how long they go on for!!

Don't be afraid of watching Ashes, btw. I was worried it might spoil LoM's ending too, but it doesn't. Without giving too much away, I thought it actually made it even better.

I didn't know there were actual dorms specific designed for manufacturing Social Justice Warriors. Damn. Well, okay, like... cool...? I guess?

But considering that every time I heard Social Justice used offline, it's been the exact opposite of the interesting variation that happens on the internet, you may be... surprised, OP. js

I'm gonna assume a SJ dorm is, as I read in the paper, a dorm with segregated dorms for minorities. The idea being if they have segregated dorms for minorities all the whities don't take their spots.
