hmmm... you know, after i left that comment, i scrolled back up and stared at that secret, wondering who else he reminded me of (besides General Hammond), and then it occurred to me--

I've just read several novels by John Le Carre, and I had unknowingly built up my mental image of George Smiley to look like him. I know a whole bunch of TV adaptations have been made of Le Carre's cold war spy novels, but now I don't want to watch them because I'll be wishing Don S. Davis was playing him instead.

why does it seem like so many good actors and writers are dropping dead all the time lately? :(
