To be honest, I always though Kamijo was the best Lestat-look-alike. Though maybe if Kesha had better hygiene, I could see it. Lestat just can't look like he's rolled around in trash and glitter. :C

To me Kamijo= perfect Lestat. Then again, he is a fan boy of Anne Rice's, so it's not like it would be sillt to say that he doesn't occasionally go the distance to look a little more Lestat-inspired.

It probably doesn't help that in the short film Versailles did, he had such a cute little girl vampire with him, like a little Claudia. He really perfects the role as a vampire prince. Now only if he spoke better english so move-makers wouldn't get the horrible idea of casting Robert Downey Jr. as Lestat.

Nah, I loved Cruise!Lestat and definitely think he could have pulled off the trashy-glitter-rocker-who-thinks-he's-cool-but-probably-isn't look. Cruise as a blonde trashy glam-rocker makes more sense to me than Townsend as a goth-rocker did.
