PLEASE, DOCTOR WHO FANDOM, FOR ONE DAY CAN YOU NOT DEFEND ONE OF THE LADIES BY BASHING THE OTHERS? They're all fucking awesome enough to be defended on their own merits. Why do you always put the women in some weird sort of competition? It isn't one. It isn't one to the Doctor, it isn't one to them, and it's really demeaning to always pit them against one another just because they're women and apparently loving one of them means you have to hate another one.

IT HONESTLY DRIVES ME INSANE

I was so happy the other day to find out an old friend of mine also watched the series and loved Rose, and I was going "Oh, Rose is my favorite character!" and prepared myself for a good time fangirling, and then she burst out with "Yeah, she's so much better than that slut River!"

I don't understand why fandom INSISTS on pitting the companions against each other when it's obvious he loves them all. All this companion war bullshit does is lead to bitterness and butthurt and horrible sexist comments.
