The finale is kind of disappointing. :/ Which is a shame, because I agree that 1.08/1.09 were the stronger episodes.

I actually liked the finale overall, except the ending and a couple other things. (way to 'treasure' her, Arthur, just while you were starting to grow on me). If only they had had more episodes like those two, it would have been a completely different show.

Well, I guess I'm disappointed since they killed off two of the characters I was most interested in (and their relationship with Morgan especially) so it kind of detracted from a lot of my enthusiasm about their continuing. I feel like the writers never really knew what they wanted out of the show.

Ah, that way. I thought they (and Kay) were actually the ones I was constantly expecting to die all season long so it didn't really come as a surprise to me.

I think so too, and I think that if they'd stop their characters from doing stupid things just for plot convenience (Merlin!!!) it'd help them further along too. Maybe with a season two they'd get a second chance, but that's probably not going to happen.
