I hope you find a way to motivate yourself, OP. I know how hard it is. But in the end, I hope you can feel happy with your body no matter how it is, just make sure you're not ruining your health. I tend to wear tight tees, even though I'm overweight, because you know - I'm not going to be thing anyway, but wearing a tent isn't going to change that.
If I can give any advice: Do it for yourself, not others. Do it because you'll feel better, because you'll be able to move, because your knees will be thankful - but not to look like a celebrity. Because no-one looks that way, not even the celebs (because they're photo shopped to death).
I managed to lose quite a lot with a low carb diet because it actually made me feel better and I wasn't hungry. But your body might be different and might need another approach.
