It was actually a cover of Blue Monday, rather than Bizarre Love Triangle, and it was some harsh-guitar industrial cover. I actually really liked the hard-edged guitar version of the instrumental, but the vocals were very harsh and scratchy and it just didn't work. But I looked up the song and liked the original.

I can't remember who the cover was by.

I have the Trainspotting soundtrack to thank for me ever giving NO a chance. I love them but none of the bigger hits ever really grabbed me.

New Order are awesome, and it doesn't matter why you know about them. I can't even remember how I got introduced to them, it was probably the Trainspotting soundtrack or something like that.

On a semi-related note: Joy Division are one of my favorite bands now, but the first time I bought one of their albums (it was the cd release of Still, so not one of their albums really, but whatever) I sold it after one listen through because listening to their music made me feel so bad

lol I'm way worse. I originally got into Joy Division, and THEN found out about New Order? And guess how I discovered Joy Division? My mom forced me to watch Control with he, bhahaha. (which later turned out to be my all-time favorite movie, but whatever ^^)
