That's cool, OP :D I wrote fanfic for one of the books we studied for GCSE and A Level. It was 'Frankenstein', lol. I was mildly obsessed with it for a while.

Aw man, why didn't I think of this when I was in high school?

Pretty sure that list would resonate with anyone in high school. No one from your class is going to be like, oh man, no one else read those books, our class reading list is so distinctive! and pick you out from that.

I too went looking for Lord of the Flies fan fiction, though I didn't find any that I enjoyed, sadly.

Hey, whatever gets you to engage with the material. Actually, some of the first fanfic I ever wrote was for a book I read in eighth-grade English.

That is a great idea. I know I've come across Jane Ere and Conan Doyle fic before, ut I gota find more becase they were amazing.
