J2 actually have friendly chemistry, though. I don't really ship it, but I see why people can.

imo it's more like 'Pinto syndrome' or 'jewnicorn syndrome'

Wait, 'jewnicorn' as in the guys who describe each other like this:

I was actually going to bring them up as an example of a pair of actors where it does make sense to ship them as well as the characters. I mean, they really don't make it difficult for the slashers. *g* To a certain extent, Jesse/Andrew is seems easier to ship than Mark/Eduardo (it is way less fraught and there are fewer emotional barriers to it, anyway. Although I actually ship Mark/Eduardo way more, because personally I find angsty difficult relationships more emotionally engaging).

I've just noticed my comment looks kind of ambiguous, and I should clarify that those are three quotes from different sources. Just in case anyone found it unclear.

But yes. They can be pretty damn gay. Andrew in particular seems almost incapable of talking about Jesse without mentioning that he's in love with him. <333 I don't even read Andrew/Jesse fic, TBH, I'm just eternally endeared by how much they obviously adore one another.

I feel it's best to just let the boys speak forthemselves, mostly. Fangirls can assess for themselves how slashable they are. xD

Also, here's something I was just going to come back and add (I figure you won't mind me including it in my reply to you, rather than posting separately):

Ok, yeah, point to jewnicorns there. I concede that they're cute and slashy, I guess. I think overexposure on tumblr is what turned me off to them.

I don't really use tumblr, and I got into TSN fandom really late, so I guess I've managed to side step overexposure. I totally get how it can completely turn you off a pairing though, so your using them as an example makes a lot more sense to me, now.

(I hope I didn't come across as being at all critical of you for not being into the pairing. I was mostly just a perfect excuse to post some ridiculous quotes, and I can never resist doing that.)
