Siwon is homophobic. Is he awesome in other ways? Of course! However, that doesn't mean he isn't also bigoted. Not all bigots are ugly people with terrible personalities, and just because he's handsome and charming doesn't mean he's perfect.

Also, I hate the "he can't be homophobic, he's friends with Heechul/whatever other guy in Super Junior acts in a 'feminine' way." We don't know for a fact that Heechul is gay. These are Korean idols, and their personalities are mostly manufactured, not to mention that just because he acts in a stereotypically girly way doesn't mean he's gay.

The scary thing is, the more attractive the bigot is, the more people want to defend him. I like Siwon, but I don't agree with his homophobic comments at all.
But I know many Siwon fans who defend his homophobia just because he is their bias and they think he's pretty.

I wanted to point out it's useless to include conjecture about other SJ members who may be gay as a defense.
Even if it was confirmed, he just said he doesn't acknowledge homosexuality. You don't have to be raging and violent to hate. Passive-agressive behaviour or blatant ignoring of an important part of someone's being can be just as hateful and cruel.
