I can't say I agree, since Eugene has a straight nose, and more triangular shaped head, while Belle has a small upturned nose with a round face, but I would LOVE to see them bonding over a love of books.

Also, could I have an explanation on how his last name is a possible clue to being someone's illegitimate child? Because I can see how it could make your theory possible, but I'm confused as to if you meant just within that, or in general relation to Tangled.

"Fitz" is a suffix to imply an illegitimate child. "Fitzhenry" would mean "the illegitimate child of Henry".

What I don't remember is if "Fitz" is for everyone, or only the illegitimate offspring of royalty.

This is mainly relevant in a culture where kids are named directly after their parents, like Johnson = son of John, or Hildasdottir = daughter of Hilda. If the world of Tangled has people with family names, it could mean that one's ancestor, that the name came from, was the illegitimate child of someone.

But whether or not the world of Tangled gives kids family names or directly names them after their parents, Flynn was raised in an orphanage, so it's quite possible that no matter what the naming conventions are, his last name really is directly for his father, and he is "the illegitimate son of Herbert".
