You've had plenty of time to read the books spanishanon. Even if you don't want to spoil the last movie there's 6 books waiting.

I think people need to recognize that the internet doesn't have the same "privilege" chart as real life. Making fun of the minority isn't cool, even if you do think they "deserve it".

I guess I'm just surprised at the amount of butthurt het fans. Out of all the fandoms I've been in, lack of het wasn't a huge issue. It's just that slash fans were more productive and seems to write more than them....Femmslash however is sometimes impossible to find :(

I do find their ~ oppressed ~ secrets hilarious though and you need to calm down there.

Porque el más del gente que no leyeron los libros y dicen que estan fans han estando diciendo por años, y nunca quisieron leer los libros.

A lot of the die-hard fans (including me) think that the books have a lot more than the movies, and it is frustrating when people who say they are fans don't care. That's what I see, anyway. I loved the books a lot, but the movies don't feel the same to me. And it bothers me that my brother can't appreciate Harry Potter the same way that I do, because he only saw the movies, he never read the books.

Of course, YMMV and whatnot, but that's my view of things.

Hardly a slasher quality at any rate, I find het fans just as guilty of that exact crap only in reverse. Frankly I think the secret should read "I want a fandom with no obnoxious shippers in it."

I would prefer fandom to not have any extreme this or that. A good dose of slash and a good dose of het is fine. I don't understand this need for it to be "ruled" by one or the other. It sounds childish and I bet it's why fandom gets such a bad rep in the media and people who aren't involved in it. I would love it if fandom could grow the fuck up.

I mean, I'm pretty much a full-on slasher with a healthy dose of femslash every now and again, but this is just juvenile. I really don't like het that much at all (something about it just consistently does nothing for me), but dude, it's seriously obnoxious to act so stuck up about liking two dudes fucking better than a dude and a chick. It's not like being in the majority (which you won't always be, anyway) makes you better or cooler or makes your interests better or cooler.

As a slasher, I am seriously not proud of you. At all.

Porque uno de los lados feos de la gente es que le gusta sentirse superior a los demás. Decir que las películas apestan y los libros son mejores es sólo una excusa para restregarte en la cara que "yo escogí la opción correcta y tú no; soy mejor que tú, ña-ña ña ña :P".

Aunque no puedo negar que si no lees los libros te estás perdiendo de varios detalles interesantes que le dan más profundidad al universo de Harry Potter, y que en varios casos aclaran puntos que las películas omitieron por los límites de tiempo a los que se tenían que apegar para no extenderse como 3 o 4 horas cada una. Pero no por eso las películas dejan de ser entretenidas, y adaptaciones, si no fidedignas, al menos divertidas.
