Porque el más del gente que no leyeron los libros y dicen que estan fans han estando diciendo por años, y nunca quisieron leer los libros.
A lot of the die-hard fans (including me) think that the books have a lot more than the movies, and it is frustrating when people who say they are fans don't care. That's what I see, anyway. I loved the books a lot, but the movies don't feel the same to me. And it bothers me that my brother can't appreciate Harry Potter the same way that I do, because he only saw the movies, he never read the books.
Of course, YMMV and whatnot, but that's my view of things.

A mi me gusta cierto anime, que a me no me gusta su manga. Y a veces gente quieren decirme que yo no entiendo, y el manga esta mejor. Y es verdad que es mejor, pero no es que dice que el manga es malo y la gente no deben leerlo. No mas... es algo que yo no quiero leer.
OK, what I would trying to say in my very rusty Spanish is:
I also prefer the books, but if someone likes the movies and doesn't want to read the books, how does it hurt me? Everyone should enjoy what they want.
I like a certain anime and I don't like the manga for it. And sometimes people want to tell me that I don't get it and the manga is better. And it is better, but I'm not saying the manga is bad and people shouldn't read it. Just... it's something I don't feel like reading.
