Aw, you're not alone OP. I have it too. It started when I was 10-11. I didn't know what it was called and just assumed it was OCD. I also had this thing about organizing odd shit. :/ That was over 10 years ago and I've gotten it under control. It was a stress reliever, but I didn't realize I was doing it half the time. I stopped doing it on my head when I was 12 because family members noticed it and commented on it. It kinda freaked me out. Now it's something I do when I'm really nervous about something. Usually on my hands, arms or legs. It's not noticeable since I'd be shaving/waxing those areas anyways. I've kinda flipped it around in my head being a good thing (waxing/threading isn't that painful anymore) and not really uncommon. I mean, people do different things when they're anxious. Some bite their nails or pick their skin. To me, it's along the same lines.
