i made the same mistake OP did. i thought it was Jason Bateman too. but that his narrator was a different 'character' than the one he plays in the show. similar to Danny Devito's narration in Matilda.

That always bothered me as a kid. I was like, "Why the fuck is Mr. Wormwood also a heartwarming narrator?! How does this make any sense?!"

Lol, this secret is kind of hilarious. I'm sorry anon, but they don't sound anything alike. To be fair, it doesn't sound that much like Ron Howard...but it sounds absolutely nothing like Jason Bateman.
