OMG yes!

I saw the cap and knew just what it was, because it was MY CHILDHOOD. I was mad for that game, I remember thinking that the Underworld in that game was the coolest thing ever, and wonderland and oh man so many memories!

You know, anon, some people made a fan sequel that I have played some of and it's pretty quality.

I WILL BE YOUR FANDOM, ANON. This game was my childhood and I love it and adore it beyond reason and I want to write so much fic about Alexander but I'm afraid no one would read it. Is there a King's Quest comm? THERE DAMN WELL SHOULD BE.

Also, have you played The Silver Lining? Alexander doesn't have the same voice actor in it, but it does have some interesting plotty things going on with him.

Fuck me I love this game so much.

ALEXANDER PICKS UP HIS ROYAL INSIGNIA RING FROM THE BEACH.

KQVI was always my favourite. I've played it so many times, man. Even though getting the cd version running is a pain, it's worth iiiit. Man, the voice acting, the music, the crappy-and-old-but-still-gorgeous graphics, the puzzles.

Stupid progress. These games do deserve a fandom, but they really just deserve to be played.

King's Quest III did more to help me deal with my dylexia then anything at my school did. I will always always *always* love it for that.

OMG, my family used to have epic whole-family play-throughs of these games, with massive maps on the walls that we filled in as we went to each screen and all sorts. Good times.

I remember watching my dad play these when I was small. The memories!

Kind of glad there's no big fandom for this game. The hivemind of fandom always scares me.

I have a friend who still cares, anon.
