I really get where you're coming from, OP. I'm not going to tell you to just try to write again or to ignore it because people are assholes, because advice like that doesn't help - I've gotten it myself, and all it did was frustrate me, because it doesn't take the hurt away, nor does it take away those memories of seeing that and feeling your heart break.

But maybe you should try to find a way to reassociate writing with something positive. Go back and reread all the good, positive feedback people gave you. (I copy mine over to a Word document and then pull it out whenever I start feeling like that; it reminds me every time that a couple of jealous dipshits mean nothing compared to dozens of happy, encouraging comments.) Reread your old fics, too; remind yourself how much fun it was to write them, how much you enjoyed it.

Most of all? Don't guilt yourself or feel bad about not wanting to write after something like that. It hurts like fuck, and that sort of thing sticks with you.
