I like GOOD romantic comedies. Of which there are few and far between, these days. And I tend to like the ones that are kind of off-the-wall and different anyway, like TiMER and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.

Is TiMER worth watching then? It's staring at me in my Netflix Queue, but I haven't quite got the courage up to watch it.

I really liked it, yeah (although I severely disliked the guy Emma Caulfield's character had a relationship with, cause I just found him annoying) but here's a heads-up: the ending's a little odd. I liked it but it seems to be one of those endings that you either love or hate. Then again, I just like Emma Caulfield in anything so. :)

This x1000. I wish Romantic-and-Plot-Driven was an actual thing, instead of an exception.

My favorite romance on film? Pushing Daisies. Not a romantic comedy in the sense of a lot mentioned here, but sweet and funny and beautiful and worth mentioning.

I LOVE PUSHING DAISIES. :D That's an excellent example of "sickeningly sweet" romance that I can not only stand to watch, but in fact really enjoy! Possibly because it's balanced with Emerson Cod's snark and the overall dark humor involved with murder mystery shows. So much love. ♥

Pushing Daisies YES YES YES.

Ned and Chuck have THE sweetest romance ever. If anything was ever "d'awww" worthy, it was their relationship.

Eternal Sunshine <3333 Though I wouldn't consider it a romcom, because I really don't consider it a comedy at all.

Though that's probably because the first time I watched it I had to pause the movie to take a cry break.
