Let me put it this way OP: Everyone's a critic. It's fun and easy to sit and snicker and nitpick and rip everything apart to little tiny pieces especially if you weren't the one who took the time to write something in the first place. Some people get a vicious kick out of it. Same with trolling. Maybe I'm just too old and bored by the whole "12 year old girls giggling and snickering together" act, but if I were in your shoes I would have a hard time taking people like that seriously. Just go find the people who share your interests or have an appreciation for unusual pairings. The only people who troll fanfic writers are either extremely awkward and immature adults, or teenage girls who are too silly to know any better. I can guarantee if you met these people in person you would laugh and wonder why you ever worried about them in the first place.
