Here's some TL;DR for your TL;DR.

(Anonymous) 2011-07-21 03:54 am (UTC)(link)
Dear OP:

If anyone's the coward and sociopath here, it sounds like it would be you. Oh, and let's add narcissist to the mix, too.

Really? "Who in their right mind does that"? MOST people do that, nonny. People make friends, and they chat and joke and sometimes bitch about common interests. Or do you not have any friends you've "ranted" to before? Maybe you don't, since you're clearly the type who would rather post a TL;DR whine-fest martyring yourself about some goddamned fanfic. Chances are, you're not the only person these cruel, evil, raging "sociopaths" (do you even know the definition of the word?) have been so heartless and mean about. Except, oh, wait, evidently they've been "snarking" about you only amongst themselves and anonymously. How do you even know this has been going on? I can only guess that you went looking for it, and/or you just started obsessing and assuming everything was about you.

Look at it this way, it could be much, much worse. They could have pulled some LJ-drama wangst, posting thinly-veiled shit about you to everyone in your common fandom, banned you from communities on the basis of made-up drama that you never had any part in, and maybe even go so far as to compose fanfic intended as a direct mockery and insult to you as a writer and a person. They could have taken every opportunity they could to post about you fanficrants instead of keeping their shit amongst themselves.

And seriously? That last line of your secret? GET HELP. Get out of the fucking house. And yeah, maybe you shouldn't be even trying to write fanfic (or other), if you're this unhinged about this shit. Either that or you're like, 12 and haven't yet matured beyond this sort of melodramatic blame-bullshit.

PS - get off the fucking cross. We need the wood.

Signed,

Someone who either knows exactly who you are, or has had to put up with a whiny little self-centered and delusional drama queen just like you.

God, fucking signed.

It takes a special level of self-absorbed drama pandering to seek out shit about yourself on the internet. Yopu found what you were looking for. obviously, and you need to either deal with it or quit wasting everyone else's precious oxygen.

Re: Here's some TL;DR for your TL;DR.

[identity profile] megalomaniageek.livejournal.com 2011-07-21 08:11 am (UTC)(link)
Just deal with it or go away, but whatever you do, keep quiet! Otherwise I might have to deal with criticism of my actions on the internet!

Re: Here's some TL;DR for your TL;DR.

(Anonymous) 2011-07-21 04:20 am (UTC)(link)
lol yes. You're here writing a long, angry rant filled with personal remarks, and OP is the one who's a delusion drama queen. I'd bet the reason you're going nuts here is because you've done the exact thing OP has described in this secret, and don't like the idea that such crappy behavior could make you the bad guy. It's hard to see yourself from the victim's eyes, isn't it, anon? Now go climb back into the deranged cesspool you climbed out of; fandom doesn't need shitheads like you.

Clearly someone missed the intentional irony that was clearly stated in the subject line.

And actually, yes, I have ranted to my friends in private about fic or art or movies or books or television shows I didn't like. And yes, I had someone stalk the shit out of me and decide that everything negative I ever said about anything was actually about her, (when I never said anything negative about her in any public forum, anon or otherwise), and then turn around and use her delusional bullshit as justification for the psychotic behavior I listed in my original comment.

Touched a nerve? Hell fucking yes. My point is that there are at least two side to every story, and the violent and obsessive mentality displayed in OP's secret is a perfect example. Someone anonymously snarked about their fic. OH NOES. Now it's years later and they still wish they could hunt those people down and inflict physical violence on them? Yeah, it is a deranged cesspool, when people like that play in it.

there are at least two side to every story

Uhh...these cases are totally different.

Your case: somebody incorrectly assumes you're talking about her, then engages in stalker behavior.
OP's case: somebody is clearly talking about them, because the insults are personal in addition to being about the fic, and OP becomes upset about it.

This is a terrible comment. I hope that, some day in the distant future, you remember posting shit like this on the internet and cringe over what a nasty, immature person you were.

Re: Here's some TL;DR for your TL;DR.

(Anonymous) 2011-07-21 01:33 pm (UTC)(link)
Actually, this comment comes from growing the fuck up and realizing that people are douches in general, but especially on the internet, and that there are always two sides or more to every story. OP went looking for shit written about them. They found it. No one is obligated to like or keep quiet about anyone or anything. It's a simple goddamned fact of life. Getting into a years-long violent tizzy about it is sick, plain and simple.

No one is obligated to like or keep quiet about anyone or anything.

But wouldn't the internet be a nicer place if you did, eh?

Re: Here's some TL;DR for your TL;DR.

(Anonymous) 2011-07-21 04:24 pm (UTC)(link)
It would also be boring. "Nice places" always are.

Re: Here's some TL;DR for your TL;DR.

[identity profile] megalomaniageek.livejournal.com 2011-07-21 06:21 pm (UTC)(link)
Everybody keeps assuming OP went searching for this. Doesn't it seem possible that they were Google searching the rare pairing they write about and stumbled upon this as a result? Or, most likely in my opinion, that they were linked to it?

You're mean. And no, most people don't do that.

I enjoy your icon. I remember one time in art class a friend drew a winged penis on my paper and my teacher was not impressed.

It was funny though.

LOL thanks! =) Penises with wings are the best thing ever.

Did someone touch a nerve?

TL;DR for your TL;DRing her TL;DR.

(Anonymous) 2011-07-21 04:56 pm (UTC)(link)
TL;DR: wahhh how dare you make me feel bad for being a douche, when I was trying to make myself believe it was okay because everyone is secretly just as douchey as I am.

Of course everyone has douche instincts. They also usually have various degrees of those things called decency and empathy that hopefully rein them in. Guess you were elsewhere the day they handed those out.
