Yeah, it annoys me when people automatically assume ALL girls like chick flicks. I know there's an audience, but considering only a certain number of chick flicks get really good screening numbers while most get low to average numbers, I don't get why people think that this is such a huge genre. You tend to see bigger audience attendance with action flicks, you know?

A bit of a side, I've never seen "The Wedding Planner", but while I was on vacation last week/earlier this week, a friend was watching this movie at the condo we were staying at, and I walked by and saw a bit of it. I was SO DISGUSTED with the way that film was made. It was like every bad chick flick cliche in a bottle. I cringe thinking about it.

Dude, you weren't missing anything with The Wedding Planner. It's a cliche buffet. I have a pretty solid tolerance for chick flicks because all of the ones I've seen involuntarily, so I have a solid appreciation for good ones. The Wedding Planner isn't good. At all.
