That is AWFUL; I have a weird button about when people are made fun of behind their back because it's SO hurtful.
Honestly, don't let it get to you. People who talk shit behind other peoples' backs do it to make themselves feel good, regardless of what you're doing. I know it hurts a lot, but it's not related to you at all or your pairing. If what they were saying was honest critique to your face that would be one thing, but this is cowardly and small, and not related to you.
