If (500) Days of Summer counts as a romcom then it's definitely my favorite. I love the way they told the story, plusss it doesn't hurt that I have a girlcrush on Zooey Deschanel and that Joseph Gordon-Levitt is amazingly amazing.

I also adore Notting Hill with a passion. And anything Jane Austen, because that woman was a genius. Though with Pride and Prejudice I prefer the 2005 Keira Knightley version.

For loving my nerdy fanodm things, I actually love Romcoms and chick flicks when done RIGHT. GOOD Romcoms/chick flicks are fantastic.

if (500) days of summer is a romcom, then that makes it my favorite romcom

i don't really think of it as one though... mostly because it's not very romantic

or maybe i just like it too much to call it a romcom lol

I don't know if I'd call it a romcom, but... idk. It kind of evades genre, but because it's funny and I like the chemistry between the leads even though it didn't work out... no idea.

It's also a bit of a coming of age story, but not...

It's just a great movie. That's what it is.
